Each year the parish council prepares a draft budget at the November meeting for the forthcoming year (April to March). The budget is again examined at the January meeting when the Precept is agreed and the request signed for dispatch to the billing authority - Forest Heath District Council.

The Precept is the amount of money (council tax) that a precepting authority (in this case the parish council) requires the billing authority  to collect and pay over to it in order to finance its net expenditure.

The Budgets for this coming year - 2017/2018 - and previous years 2016/2017, 2015/2016 and 2014/2015 (which also shows the 2013/2014 budget) can be viewed from the sub-menu on the right.
