10.00 to 11.30 am. £2.00 per family unit. A place for the under 5s and their carers with play, craft, snacks, stories and songs. Also open to members of the community who just want to come along for a cuppa and chat. All welcome.

Effective, exhilarating, Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning dance fitness party. "Makes you feel good and you don't realise you're working out".

Yoga For Relaxation


 6.15 to 7.15 pm. £6.00 per session.

Looking for something different to Aerobics, why not try some gentle, simple Yoga based movements. Practicing both basic Hatha yoga postures and limbering exercises.  Aiming to co-ordinate mind, body and breath.  Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.  All aspects of the class can be modified to suit all abilities and problems.  All you need is a mat and comfortable clothing, pillows and cushions if you wish.

As it is a 'drop-in' class there is no course fee, just come as often as you like and pay-as-you-go.  If you have any questions please feel free to call.

 Hatha Yoga




Meditation Practice now also on third Wednesday of each month.

10.00 to 11.00 with Chrissie Bond.  Chrissie is a ‘Yoga Elder’ (5000+ Teaching Experience) She is dedicated to teaching Yoga from a therapeutic perspective and takes time to get to know her students’ physical, mental and health issues so that each one benefits individually from his/her practice. Chrissie realises the importance of joy and friendship in our lives — her classes are fun and sociable whilst ensuring that all aspects of yoga are included in each practice. She also hosts a Meditation Practice on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 9.00 — 09.45.

Dance Club

Due to business commitments Linda has unfortunately had to stand down from taking the Dance Club on a Wednesday evening.

Strictly comes to Freckenham! If you haven't tried FitSteps before, it's a Dance Fitness class with a difference, where the focus is on learning the routines as well as physical exercise. We are Waltzing through the Cha Cha, the Jive, the Charleston along with some Rumba, Tango and American Smooth, all choreographed to both traditional and contemporary music. You don't need previous dance experience or a partner to join in with this 'Strictly' energising workout. So why not give it a try? This class is suited to all age groups and abilities, including those who are returning to or trying a class for the first time.

Rosie Trull returned with Thursday Pilates starting on Thursday the 7th September. Two sessions; 9.30 to 10.30 and 10.45 to 11.45. £8.00 per session.

There will be 2 classes as before:-

9.30-10.30am for intermediate/mixed ability 

10.45-11.45am for beginners/more gentle exercise

As an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist Rosie is happy to give advice about musculoskeletal aches and pains, managing chronic long term conditions, and will provide an individual programme of exercises and stretches if necessary.

Pilates is a wonderful form of exercise, at all levels of ability, for maintaining and improving balance, posture, strength and flexibility.

Classes are kept to a maximum of 12 participants and Rosie provides mats and all equipment. £8.00 a class.

Following a successful 8 weekly trial classes are now continuing on Thursdays starting at 2.00pm. Cost is only £4.00 per session.


The class will be mainly chair based and standing exercises, all of which are very gentle and suitable for people with limited mobility.   You do not need to have any experience of taking part in an exercise class and the exercises can be adapted to suit your needs. We all need to keep moving as we get older, and this is the perfect opportunity to take part in a gentle, structured and safe exercise programme locally, delivered by a qualified instructor.  See poster.

Dance Club

Swing Jive

On summer break until 28th September. DIY nights 3rd, 10th and 31st August and 7th September.

 8.00 - 10.00 pm. £2.50 per person includes refreshments. All welcome, couple or single, beginners or experienced, all wanting to polish up their dancing.

This Pilates session began on 13th January 2017 thanks to:

Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the whole human body.     It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong powerhouse, and improving coordination and balance.

Discovering Through Drawing

This workshop, led by Vivian Ezugha, is aimed at people with no drawing experience who would like to try out different kinds of drawing techniques within a supportive group and who would enjoy the opportunity to draw outdoors.

Workshop is free of charge and all materials will be supplied.
