The East Suffolk Catchment Partnership is a new group building on the excellent work and approach being used successfully by the Rivers Trust movement and others across the UK. We aim to have a wide partnership drawing together a group of engaged organisations and individuals far beyond the ‘usual suspects’ to address issues such as housing, transport and infrastructure development and its impacts on the water environment; water availability; diffuse pollution from rural and urban sources; physical modifications and all the issues currently identified by the EA and others as part of work to deliver the objectives of the Water Framework Directive.
Users can now find information about road safety in Suffolk, apply for courses and learn about managing risk on the road.
Freckenham has a vast range of activities available to local people, despite its small population; karate, zumba, yoga, carpet bowls, table tennis and dancing. A new 5km circular walk is soon to be introduced to encourage more people to walk locally.
